Recycleye builds and deploys AI-vision robotic picking systems in materials recovery facilities (MRFs) across Europe and the US, improving the purity and recovery rates of recyclable streams — a genuine upstream enabler of the circular economy that reduces the volume of recyclable material lost to landfill or energy-from-waste. The core technology addresses a real structural bottleneck in recycling infrastructure, and operating data (e.g. 199 million items picked in 2024, 13 million cartons recovered, pick rates up from 45 to 62/min) provides credible proof of throughput impact. However, Recycleye publishes no standalone sustainability report, no SBTi-validated targets, no CDP disclosure, and no independently verified lifecycle emissions data for its own operations or the avoided-emissions attributable to its deployments, limiting investor-grade verification of claimed climate benefits.
