About ClimateTicker
ClimateTicker is an independent, AI-assisted climate news and company research project. It tracks important climate stories, the organisations shaping the transition, and the evidence behind corporate climate claims.
Purpose
The project exists to make the climate economy easier to understand. The news feed groups coverage from multiple publishers, while the company and people directories connect claims to public evidence, primary sources, regulatory records, and clearly explained methodology.
Ownership and funding
ClimateTicker is built, owned, edited, and self-funded by Rob Hammond. It has no outside investors, corporate owners, sponsors, or paid placement in its rankings. Companies cannot pay to be included, excluded, or scored more favourably.

How we work
Automation helps ClimateTicker monitor and organise a large volume of public information. It does not make the underlying source authoritative, and it does not remove the need for editorial accountability. Our editorial standards explain how stories, profiles, scores, AI assistance, and corrections are handled.
