Mitiga Solutions is a Barcelona Supercomputing Center spin-off that builds physics-based, AI-powered physical climate risk models covering floods, wildfires, heatwaves, drought, and wind, helping insurers, banks, infrastructure owners, and corporates quantify and disclose asset-level exposure under CSRD, TCFD, and IFRS S2 frameworks. Its core product, EarthScan, is a genuine enabler of climate adaptation: it does not cut emissions directly, but it makes climate resilience measurable and therefore actionable across large capital pools. The science is peer-reviewed and BSC-validated, the B-Corp certification adds a credible governance layer, but the company has no publicly filed SBTi targets or CDP disclosure for its own operations, limiting the targets and transparency scores.
