HydrogenPro is a genuine climate-mitigation enabler: its core product — high-pressure alkaline electrolysers — directly enables the production of green hydrogen at industrial scale, displacing fossil-derived hydrogen in hard-to-abate sectors such as steel and chemicals. The climate thesis is structurally sound, but the company remains small (~72 employees), pre-profit, and highly dependent on a still-nascent green hydrogen market whose pace of deployment has repeatedly disappointed; technology delivery risk and project execution must be monitored. No credible SBTi-validated targets or CDP disclosure have been found, leaving a gap between its green mission and formal sustainability accountability.
